PCH 50 Fundraising Impact
PCH50 is currently fundraising for the below programs and initiatives at Phoenix Children’s
Magnet Recognition Program
Magnet designation represents the highest national recognition for nursing excellence and a deep commitment to exceptional patient care. Through this rigorous, evidence-based program, organizations strengthen clinical quality, improve patient safety, and enhance the overall patient and family experience.
PCH50 funding will support the resources needed to achieve and sustain Magnet status, including dedicated nursing staff and leadership roles, expert consulting for readiness assessments, and expanded nursing research and professional practice programs. This investment will foster strong collaboration across care teams, support a highly engaged nursing workforce, and drive continuous improvement in care delivery—ultimately leading to better outcomes for patients and families.
Young Investigator Program
The Young Investigator Program is designed to build a strong pipeline of physician-scientists by supporting early-career faculty with demonstrated research potential. Through a structured “Physician Scholar” pathway, participants receive protected research time, mentorship, and critical resources to develop into independently funded clinician-researchers.
Supported in part by PCH50, this program invests in the future of pediatric research by strengthening internal talent, advancing innovation, and enhancing Phoenix Children’s ability to attract top-tier physicians. By expanding research capabilities and supporting emerging leaders in medicine, the program helps drive discoveries that improve care and outcomes for children and families.
